21. Certified copy of utility bill (electricity or water bill)

22. Certified English translated copy of utility bill (electricity or water bill) (Only if your utility bill not in English Language)

23. Verification letter by one of the the referees in the form  (The verification letter compulsory for parents who are working but do not have Monthly Income Slip and do not have utility bill. The letter must clarify your parent’s occupation, amount of monthly income and household living conditions.Verification Letter must be in English Language)

All scanned documents must be in PDF and JPEG format (for photo).

Prepare, scan and email the following supporting documents to [email protected]. documents should be certified as true copy by relevant authority.

i. Offer Letter & Acceptance (duly signed)

ii. Scholarship Agreement (duly signed)

iii. One (1) passport size photo,
– White background
– Size: 3.5 cm (Width) x 4.5 cm (Height)

iv. One (1) copy of passport
– Passport validity is at least 18 months from the date of admission / submission to the university. For Indonesian students, passport validity must be at least 27 months from programme commencement date (for programmes with duration of 2 years or more)
– All pages of the passport (in colour, include cover pages).
– Kindly ensure that page numbers are clearly visible.

v. One (1) set of academic transcripts and completion certificate
– Transcripts and certificate are required from A-Level to the highest qualification level or equivalent.
– In the event that these documents are not published in English, applicants are required to provide copies of original and official English-translated versions.

vi. One (1) copy of English language qualification result with minimum of IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL 550 or MUET Band 2.

vii. No-Objection Certificate (NOC) or Letter of Eligibility (LOE) is only required for student from Sudan or Iran.

vii. Health Examination Form:-
– Please use the standard Health Examination Form approved by the Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS).

viii. Yellow Fever Vaccination Booklet (only applicable for sub Sahara African countries)

viii. Please refer to the Medical Screening Guidelines here for more details. You can find the list of EMGS approved clinics here

viii. Please indicate which Malaysian Embassy/Consulate (eg. Indonesia: Jakarta; China: Beijing) you wish to apply from for the Single Entry Visa (SEV). This is only applicable for students who are from the listed countries for the SEV application to enter Malaysia after the Visa Approval Letter (VAL) is issued.

Important notes:

1.Incomplete applications will not be processed.

2.Applicants are advised to submit their documents at least ten (10) weeks before the commencement date of the intake. All late submission will be considered for the next intake.

Documents for processing the Visa Approval Letter (VAL) (provided in Step 2) will be submitted to Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) by AIU International Student Unit and the process takes a minimum of six (6) weeks.

You can monitor your application progress* via EMGS website.

The received VAL from EMGS will be sent to your email.

Once VAL is received, you are required to visit the nearest Malaysian Embassy/Mission to apply for single entry visa (SEV).

Important note:

* The progress status indicated here is the status of EMGS VAL application not AIU application status.

 
 
 

Once the VAL and single entry visa (if required) are received, you can begin to plan your travel to Malaysia.

Do inform us on your travel arrangements and copies of flight bookings/itinerary and send to [email protected]  at least one week before the date of arrival. Check with your country’s airport/airlines authority on the need of return / round-trip ticket to enter Malaysia prior to your flight booking to avoid unnecessary problems before your departure.

Once you have arrived in Malaysia, you are required to visit the immigration counter at the point of entry.

Our representative will meet you prior to immigration clearance.

You are required to undergo a medical examination within seven (7) working days upon entering Malaysia at any EMGS panel clinics.
Our representative will make arrangement for your medical screening.

You can proceed with registration at AIU campus once post medical screening is completed.
