The Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) upholds AIU’s motto of Inspiring Minds amidst its mission to provide opportunity to serve humanity through social business in a redesigned learning environment. The DVC (A)’s office is responsible for matters related to academic, scholarship and students’ affairs. In terms of academic the DVC (A)’s office is looking to empower students as active learners through digital, technology and media literacy. The Office is also responsible to identify candidates who lack access to education and in need of scholarship.
With regards to Student Affairs matters the Office is tasked with overlooking issues related to creating and administering a variety of programs to meet the needs of all students and ensure a respectful, nurturing cultural environment.
The Office is proud to be associated and be the frontline in developing our students based on AIU Founder’s core 5A values (Adab – Modest individuals with good manners and dignity, Akhlaq – Character building and the alignment of an individual’s moral compass, Akidah – individuals that have a strong faith and are driven by purpose, Amanah – accountability and integrity in every task, action and intention and Amalan – taking action in a way that carries the above values.
