PROGRAMME SYNOPSIS

The Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) programme of AIU prepares graduates to become entrepreneurs or managers equipped with fundamental knowledge and expertise to undertake various roles in business organisations. It is aligned to the curriculum that develops the intellectual curiosity and abilities of learners to think critically and scientifically about real world problems, especially those related to business. The programme courses are also outlined to enhance student’s verbal, interactive and social skills; creatively find innovative solutions through problem solving process; create a stake in their own learning as a basis for developing a research culture, evidence-based decision-making and foundation for lifelong learning especially in the business world.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • IELTS (band 5.5) or TOEFL (550) or MUET (band 2)
  • Recognised Matriculation or Foundation qualification with minimum CGPA of 2.50 AND credit in Mathematics at SPM Level or equivalent qualification; Those with 3.00 and above in Business and Accounting subjects at Matriculation/Foundation level has an added advantage; OR
  • Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with credit in Mathematics AND Pass Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) with TWO (2) full passes or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.50, AND credit in Mathematics and pass in English at SPM level or any equivalent qualification; OR
  • Pass A-Level or equivalent with a minimum of Grade C; OR
  • A Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50. Candidates with CGPA below 2.50 but above 2.00 may be admitted subject to internal assessment; OR
  • Any qualifications equivalent to Diploma/Advanced Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, AND credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent qualification.
