The University Medical and Dialysis Centre, located within the Pusat Ilmu Sharifah Rokiah will provide basic health care that covers out-patient medical and dental treatment, counselling, first aid, minor surgery and medication for students and staff. Other facilities include a computerized haematology laboratory, an imaging and diagnostic laboratory, and also paediatric and ante-natal clinical services.
Students can also receive medical treatment from the public or state hospitals at a nominal charge. However, international students are advised to obtain comprehensive health insurance coverage.
