School of Business
Dean
Responsibilities:
• Responsible to provide academic leadership and strategic vision to enhance the school’s reputation in teaching, learning and research.
• Responsible to design, plan and implement the School’s strategic direction and manage its human and financial resources.
• Be part of the University’s leadership team to contribute to the University’s strategy for future growth.
• Responsible in coordinating teaching and learning requirements involving students and faculty members.
Requirements:
• A Doctoral Degree in Business Studies or equivalent.
• Has had academic leadership experience, especially as Dean or top management of a University.
• Good network of industrial partners and academic institutions
• Experience in dealing with international staff and students.
• Has a track record in research and publications.
• Familiar with Higher Education Quality Assurance Framework and processes.
Centre for Teaching-Learning and Quality Assurance Management
Director
Requirements:
• PhD in Education.
• Experience in Outcome Based Education and Professional Development of faculty in Higher Education.
• Experienced in teaching and learning.
• Good understanding of Malaysian Qualification framework.
• Strong leadership abilities.
Intensive English Programme
English Lecturer
Responsibilities:
• Responsible to carry out research, teaching, and administration tasks.
• To teach in the areas assigned by the Head of Program/Dean of School.
• Contribute to the development, planning, administration, and marking of teaching, learning, exams and other assessments.
• Contribute to personal development of students through community service programmes.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, preferably with TESL, TESOL or equivalent.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in teaching English as the second language.
• Able to teach both international and local students.
• Able to multi-task and has high interest in working with students.
Human Resource Department
Manager
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment & selection, training & development, compensation & benefits, employee relations and performance management.
• Review, formulate and implement HR strategies, objectives, policies and procedures to be in line with the University’s mission, vision and operations.
• To manage employee conflicts, grievances and mediate disputes in a constructive manner.
• To prepare and process monthly payroll for 150 employees.
• To liaise with all relevant government agencies for the HR matters.
• Acts as Deputy Secretary to the Staffing Committee of the University.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Degree and specialization in Human Resources Management would be an added value.
• At least 8 years of working experience in managerial position in HR functions.
• Must be well-versed with the Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Act, and other HR practices and legislations.
• Experience in recruiting expatriates and familiar with taxation laws and benefits for expatriates.
• Familiar with HR functions in higher education institutions.
• Good written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Highly self-motivated and able to interact with all levels of employees in the Company.
• High level of professionalism and personal integrity.
Registry Department
Assistant Registrar
Responsibilities:
• Assist the registrar in managing the Registry Department.
• Responsible in maintaining the implementation of specific duties assigned and ensuring that the implementation is in-line with the policies, rules and regulations of the University.
• Assist to develop and administer operational policies and procedures relating to the activities of the Registry Department.
• Serve on university committees as required or needed.
• Ready to take responsibility in doing task together with staff from other departments as part of the multitasking policy of the University.
• Perform other duties as when required.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
• Excellent communication and written skill in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good computer skill especially in Microsoft and spreadsheet. Experience in handling Campus Management System is an added advantage.
• Able to work as a team and with international students and staff.
• Require minimum supervision.
