Albukhary International University generally recruits students who have a record of commendable performance at a secondary or high school level. The applicant must have a minimum of 5 credits including of in Mathematics, Science and English in Malaysian SPM or GCE 'O' level or equivalent qualifications
General criteria for prospective students:
a. Good academic standing.
b. Student must be from an underprivileged background.
c. Single and not older than 22 years of age.
d. Willing to obey rules and regulations of the university.
e. Physically and mentally healthy.
Note that admissions priority will be given to qualified applicants whose personal circumstances and environment are the most deserving.
