AiU’s primary objective is to provide  a Teaching-Learning-Research environment and experience of the highest possible quality. Besides, it is also expected that the academic programmes will reflect and imbibe humanitarian values, which will result in graduates not only becoming successful professionally, but also caring and giving individuals who will practice these attributes as a way of life.

Currently, AiU offers the following programmes:

Centre for Foundation Studies

This 1 year Foundation programme will prepare students with a minimum of O Level or equivalent qualifications for University studies. Students with higher qualifications, but who cannot be accepted into degree programmes, will also need to do the Foundation programme which focuses on the following skills:-

  • English Language
  • Communications
  • Mathematical
  • Computing
  • Thinking and Learning

School of Business

School of Information and Communications Technology

Accreditation

All of AiU’s academic programmes are approved by Ministry of Higher Education before it is being conducted and offered for registraition to students. This is a requirement under the Private Higher Educational Institutions (Conducting Course of Study) Regulations 1997. All of AIU’s programmes have been granted at least Malaysian Quality Agency (MQA) Provisional Accreditation when it is conducted. Having Provisional Accreditation means that the programme has met the minimum MQA requirements to start conducting the programme.
