Welcome to AIU Website

Albukhary International University (AIU) is a charity-oriented university; all costs of study, including accommodation, living expenses and textbooks (yearly basis) are sponsored by the Albukhary Foundation.

As an international university, AIU accepts a large number of international students from mainly Islamic countries from around the world. This policy is in line with AIU's objective of providing educational opportunities to those who are less fortunate from all over the world. Selection for admission is done by the Selection Committee which follows strict guidelines.

AIU provides a range of facilities such as air-conditioned lecture/tutorial rooms, science and computer laboratories, a grand mosque, a multi purpose hall, a sports complex, hostels, cafeteria (local and international menu), a shopping mall adjacent to the complex and a bank. AIU also provides hotel accommodation and a fully equipped hospital on campus. Everything here is within easy walking distance. In addition, students will have access to a variety of learning resources such as references and general reading materials, textbooks, periodicals, multimedia and the Internet via wi-fi which will be available throughout the campus grounds. AIU will constantly upgrade its resource facilities to encourage independent learning activities.

With all the facilities and learning provided, it is hoped that students of AIU will be well equipped with the necessary knowledge in facing the challenges in the real world. An AIU student should expect to adhere to a strict code of conduct becoming of an AIU scholar as we intend to give birth to scholars who are matured, independent, conscientious, humble, charitable and global.
